Unisol has been producing, supplying and installing EPS sandwich panels for over 40 years, with which cold rooms can be fully custom-made. In collaboration with renowned refrigeration technology installers, we design and build refrigeration installations entirely to your wishes.
How does it work?
To maintain the right climate, we install EPS sandwich panels on a thermally broken aluminium frame. These cold room panels provide optimal insulation and make the space energy-efficient.
The frame ensures that no cold bridge forms; cold would otherwise slowly pass through the frame to the outside of the cold room, resulting in condensation and excessive energy consumption. Cold room swing or sliding doors are added at the desired locations. The refrigeration technology is then installed by our partners.

Cold room sliding and swing doors are refrigeration doors used in cold and freezer rooms.
The sliding door consists of a frame that slides to the side, giving access to the space. A cold room swing door is a door attached to a rotating mechanism, similar to a ‘classic door’. This door can be opened and closed with a simple door handle.
The right solution
The type of door that suits the cold room depends on the function of the space. In general, small cold rooms benefit from a swing door, as they take up less space. A large cold room can benefit from a sliding door. This door is often much larger and makes it possible to move large quantities of goods in and out of the cold room using a forklift, for example.
